Sunday morning we were up early, went to breakfast and visited Jenny Grist Mill in Plymouth. There we walked underneath the overpass, next to the stream going into the ocean. Met some more people, watched a few ducks in the water and walked over the wooden bridge. Teaching (or desensitizing) Ry (and any puppy really) to different places and walking on different surfaces is such a positive thing. I often see dogs who are afraid to walk on our blue floor at the veterinary hospital, it would be so much better for them if they learned they could walk on different surfaces. In class, I will put different materials on the floor for the pups to walk on- a wooden expansion gate spread out flat on the floor, a metal crate pan, a tarp...
Another early morning today, we drove to Plymouth Beach- Dog Friendly!! Yes!!
And, late this afternoon we went to the bogs again- Ry went swimming (really he was chasing the ducks). Remus had fun trying to keep up with Ry, well, I think he did. I did get some nice photos of him.
